Lake Tyler Association has been a longtime partner with The Camp Tyler Foundation and Outdoor School. Our common goals of helping people and preserving the environment have created a bond that will last for generations. We have worked with our neighbors at Camp Tyler on many events and activities over the years and are excited to continue support them at the annual roundup, as well as provide some fun for the campers during the summer!  

 

The Camp Tyler Outdoor School has been serving and educating the children of Texas in a school without walls for over 80 years. Their mission has been to give children from all walks of life the opportunity to experience the outdoors. Located on beautiful Lake Tyler, with over 300 acres of forest, prairie, and meadow, Camp Tyler Outdoor School provides unique, interactive outdoor learning experiences to enrich students’ education. They provide a crucial tool to forge a connection with the natural world and our environment by inspiring curiosity and enjoyment of nature to over 2000 campers a year. They are motivated by their love of children and a desire to be good stewards of nature.
